New York bagel done right!! I got the chicken sausage, egg & cheese on a French Toast bagel and it was the perfect mix of sweet & savory. So many options to choose from so definitely look at the menu ahead of time. Service was prompt, they got through a long line really quickly! Inside is crowded but in a good way. Will absolutely be back.
Without a doubt my favorite bagel in the city so far. It's soft, airy, and has a nice bite without being too heavy. The lines might be long, but they go by quick! There isn't much seating in the restaurant, but it's enough for a quick bite with a small group. It's also nice to see your food being made as well.
got a savory and sweet bagel to split - plain with fig and honey + everything with eastern nova and schmear. Honestly loved the fig and honey schmear on plain and regretted not being more adventurous with our order! Particularly given the enticing selection of cream cheeses (as pictured), definitely played it safe with our picks. Went on a Saturday morning at 10am and was honestly pretty quick, to our surprise. A line started to form right as we were leaving so would definitely recommend going in early.
Whenever you are in New York and craving bagels, I would stop by here. I'd say it is Top 5 bagel shops. It was a bit crowded, but standing in line while figuring out what you want is the hard part. There was a diverse cream cheese and bagel section. I settled for the Pumpernickel bagel with smoked salmon spread. The bagel was exceptionally hot and fresh with a nice crunch. The spread was definitely more on the Smokey side so the combo definitely hit. I would love to come back here when I'm craving NY bagels. I haven't looked back at a Costco bagel since!
